According to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, a trade between the UFC and ONE Championship is underway.  The trade will send Demetrious Johnson to ONE Championship in exchange for Ben Askren, who will come to the UFC.  

This is groundbreaking stuff, whereas I am not familiar any such trades between MMA organizations ever taking place.  Ben Askren coming to the UFC could open up a number of interesting matchup possibilities.  See Ariel Helwani’s tweet below.  More details on potential matchups coming soon!
